Anytime you see the small Death Star logo over the screen it is saving. If you want to manually save go to change a part of your custom characters in the Cantina and press B.

My age old Need for Speed saving tactic revealed!!
Autosave always saves after something bad happens, so I always turn autosave off.

Why do companies implement autosave and not just a pause menu save, or a dialog prompt?

I need to know.
