Consider this speculation for the time being, but it seems that Leon Kennedy (you might know him from such games as Resident Evil 4) will be featuring in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Paul Mercier is the actor who voices Leon. On his IMDb page, Brawl is listed as his latest work.

If this is to be relied on, there's still a chance he could just be an Assist Trophy. Either way it's an exciting rumor. Welcome, stranger!

I think he's definitely a possibility. I mean RE4 was a big success. It was big enough to be re-released and considered one of the wii's best games.

Even if this isn't true, there's still a possibility that he could be an AT (nothing more). As it's been stated, RE is a successful franchise, so anything is a possibility, more likely leaning towards a spot as an Assist, or maybe a Trophy/Sticker.

I can't tell you how many times I've been let down, or relieved of something being wrong on there. It's just like Wikipedia.

Though, he is pretty popular, I don't think he'll be in.
Either way, if he is, I couldn't see him as being more than assist trophy, or something.
Not as a playable character.
