Loading GameCube Game Disc

I just got my Wii two days ago so please bare with me. I have some games that I'd like to play on the Wii (to test out). How do I load them in? Its easy with the Wii games as its a disc and you can insert it pretty much anywhere in the slot. But since the Gamecube games are so small, do you have to center it with the slot? Any ideas?

I don't think it matters that much as the GC disks will end up in the same place, but to place it safe I put mine in through the centre.

no, it just pulls the disc where it wants it to go, u dont gotta worry.

Do you need the Classic Controller to play GameCube titles or can you use the Wiimote?

you need a gamecube controller. you can get them at gamestop for $10, or get official nintendo ones for $25.
