what does lucario b down do anyway?
i wonder 2
i think is some sort of counter move
it's similar to marth and ike's counter, but slightly longer
when attacked, you won't be damaged and you'll launch a retaliation (try not to spam it!)
I was wondering that to until my sister grabbed the controller from my hands and pressed down B when I was getting hit:lol:
its the pokemon move called snatch...i think its called like that.
Double Team. :lol:
yeh its a pretty sweet move
long time since i watch pokemon...
Yep, he uses Double Team. He mirrors himself and moves behind the attacking character, then retaliates.
yeh he has the longest counter time of all. After being hit he dissapears and slide tackles the opponent doin tons of knockback on good damage and this moves also gets his dmg=power bonus.
Spamming double team against fatties is soooo fun!!!
True he does get more power the more damage he and he retailates with Low Kick. Its a good move since it can hit multiple opponets in a row and its hard to notice him do it in a crowd.
..Well, it's not actually low kick, low kick isn't a forward sliding, sweeping kick. It's just Double Team paired with an aura-powered sliding kick.
His counter is a lot more powerful than any other characters', that's for sure. Too bad the cool down is worse and it's possible to dodge if the move being countered has very low cool down.
..Wasn't this thread revived way before the Wiichat apocolypse? >.>;;
Lucario's Counter is tricky business to activate at the right time. >_<
Right time, no. Right opponent, yes. Double Team is almost useless on some enemies like Meta Knight(which ironically he is supposedly one of, if not the only, the only nuetral match up to Meta, lol). If they have little cool down on some or most of their moves, they should be able to shield the sweeping kick and then counter with their own move, effectively leaving you open.
Against someone like Ike though, it's very effective. It's a suprisingly powerful KO move, and a good escape and response to say, Ike's F-tilt or smashes. Even then, counter moves are very risky in competitive play, but Lucario's is the riskiest of them all. To pay that off, it has the best pay off too - huge knockback and good damage.
