Majora's Mask: How do I give the red potion to komaki (sp?)

Sorry I can't remember his name so I'm not sure how it's spelled. Could someone please tell me how to give him the red potion? I have tried multiple time but I always end up drinking it.

lol it's kotake. I'm pretty sure. lets see if i can remember. First you get the potion from the other one. Then follow the monkeys to kotake. Then when you get to her you L target her. And push the control stick in the right direction that the potions in.
