Making sensor bar more accurate?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if there is a way to make the sensor bar better reflect where I am pointing at the screen.

I'm using a projector rather than a conventional TV, and where I point the Wii mote is completely different than where the hand shows up. The movement is smooth, just about 2 feet lower than where I would expect it to be. I tried the suggestion here :
http://www.davidhawley.co.uk/WiiSensorBar.aspx
and
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/file/930752/46680

And bought a second sensor bar and moved them closer together, but nothing makes much of a difference. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

maybe try changing the position of the sesnsor bar in the wii menu either above or below the "Tv"

The bar that comes with the wii is crappy. Replace it with a better wireless one. I got a psyclone pse6904 from target 20 dollars.

its not the sener bar, i can guarantee that. because you're using a projection screen, i suggest placing the bar at the bottom of the projection and working it from there. if you need to then place the bar in the projection. you'll get a weird effect at that spot but it should help in reading how you want it to.

and my other suggestion is use a regular tv.
