Mario Kart 64 Controls

Hello, i just downloaded mario kart 64, playing it on a GC controller and im trying to figure out how to get the position bar around the screen. Is it possible on the VC version or not. Ive tried every button and it doesnt do it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

yup, i know you can. i cant remember how though. try pressing z. i think thats it.

ive tried that, and it makes a little noise, but nothing changes

Tried moving the C stick to the left or right?

if you hit the menu button on the wiimote you should be able to look at the instructions for the game

for the record, it is C-Right
