    Where Mario shows you things?, like in a educational game

    Actually, type in Mario Bros. Special and you'll learn, in 1984, Hudson Software released 2 Mario Games for PC. I think it was a Japanese exclusive. For the NEC PC-8801.

    It was more or less before the NES.
    Nintendo where multi format and games like Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers came out on loads of formats.
    With different levels of success. (Donkey Kong on the 2600 is utter trash)
    Then later on they did it again with some of there other series and the result was............Zelda on CDi.

    Whoa, I didn't know nothing about Nintendo games in the 2600, but Zelda on Cdi was more by legal issues than Nintendo really wanting to do it.
