memory card for virtual console

Hey all. Im new to this forum. Im from Australia and I dont think we have had the virtual console for that long. It is great though I love it, the only problem I am finding is that there are not that many games. Are Nintendo going to release more games? I'd love to see super mario bros. 3 for NES released.

Also, are the 2gig memory cards really necessary? I heard that the sandisk brand are the cheapest to buy not sure.

No the SD cards are not necessary. Games cant be played off them.

More games are released every monday in the US, idk about AU.

alien Australia gets updates every Friday morning at about 10:00 I think and we've had the VC since launch but we've only recently gained acces to TG-16 games.
