I tried to make the original sensor bar wireless by cutting the wire and connecting the wires to a AA battery holder that holds 4 batteries. It didnt work so i tried connecting the original wires back together but it didn't work. Can someone tell me how or what i did wrong with the sensor bar?

thanks in advance.

Yea, look on the back of your sensor bar. Do you see cut wires? Good good. They shouldn't be cut.

I believe the wired sensor bar gets 9V output from the Wii. Did you check the voltage of of the sensor bar port?
