Lol...I so doubt it, I think he's got abuilt in cup into his suit so....ya.

So, are you naming game franchises that do have a continuous story from game to game because I was talking about ones that don't have a continuous story from one game to the next. Like for example, although I already used this example, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will have a story completly unrelated to that of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
I was naming those that don't continue, sry but I nvr played the story mode of Halo2 so I didn't know, sry. But kirby and sonic I know never continue there stories. At least I didn't think so, same w/ Jak though i could be wrong about him...

I said both....but im most likely going to get Metroid Prime 3 first because i dont have enough money for 360.....and im going to like Metroid Prime 3 better cause i have Halo 2 and now its only fun online but when i play online i normally either get cheated or just suck.

Personally, I'm more into Metroid. Didn't play the original, but have Metroid Prime and really got into it. Only have an old TV, so I can't play Echoes yet. Will be getting a new TV once my loan comes through and buy Echoes.

As for Halo, the one thing that bothers me about it, is that it's on the chunky Xbox controller. Personally, I don't feel comfortable on the xbox. I liked the fact that Halo had a 2-player story mode though.

Ultimately, I've got to go with Metroid. It's a classic, it's got a contraversial character (The amount of upset fanboys over the fact that Samus is a woman is quite sad) and I prefer the idea of a rogue bounty hunter to a space militia.

If anyone needs a bit of help deciding which to vote on, I'll put in some trailers:

Although you have to bear in mind that Halo 2 and 3 trailer showed no gameplay footage. In contrast, Metroid 3 was focused on gameplay.

Sorry to all the Halo fans but Halo is only a multiplayer game. The single player is absolute SH*T!!! That's why MP3 get's my vote.

U know squall, u just changed my mind about renting MP3, i've GOT TO GET IT! That MP:C vid was amazing. The reason the Halo 2/Halo 3 vids didn't show gameplay is because they just wanted to "look" cool, which i'm not denying they didn't, but it would have been smarter to use gameplay clips like Nintendo did.

Good job Squall, u just made Nintendo receive $50 more than they were going too:D

I didn't think the GC one's were that great, but Corruption's gonna be so unbelievably awsome it's going to be ridiculous!!!!!

Halo hasn't done anything that innovative, but instead takes elements from many great shooters and tweaks them.

I'm sorry but i'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Halo's innovations were astounding, yet few people seem to notice them. Before Halo had there been an epic shooter that perfectly combined controls, AMAZING music, and in-game cut scenes? Not that I can think of. Before Halo had there been a game that proved that the next-gen was here, and just how much potential the Xbox had (or the future of games for that matter.) I don't think so either. To truley understand innovation, you must understand it's defination: The act of introducing something new and significantly different. Halo took FPS's to a level they had never been before, and it shattered my expectations with so much force it scared me lol. Halo Combat Evolved will always be in my head when ever I think of great games.

Now Metroid Prime... hmmm... Shortly after I got an Xbox I recieved a Gamecube for my birthday, and the first game I got was Metroid Prime. To be blunt... I hated it. The story was boring and made no sense, it was boring as hell to wander around and backtrack over AND OVER again, and it just seemed like it was going no where. The controls weren't that good, the music and everything was very bland, and overall I just didn't find it fun. But ah, that's just my opinoin, and as i'm on a Nintendo forum I know for a fact a ton of you are going to diasgree with me. Oh well, I can't please everybody :p

I've never played the single player campaign in Halo, but I'll trust that it's story is as good as everyone says. With that said, I still don't like Halo. I think my main beef with it is that it attracts all those know-nothing fanboys who have never played anything else and assume that Halo must be "OMG teh best!!!!!!!!!!!!!". I'm so sick of arguing with them, stupid fanboys.

As for Metroid Prime, I dunno. I'll look into Corruption when it comes out, but the first one rather disappointed me. I rented it from Blockbuster but didn't get past the first or second level before being too bored to continue. It was mind-numbing. All you did was backtrack to look for one stupid lever hidden under some worthless rock or something ridiculous like that. I couldn't take it. If Corruption is anything like that, I'll stick with Red Steel and Call of Duty 3. Come to think of it, I'll probably stick with those two no matter what. Honestly, how many FPSs does a guy need?

Tell me why. Just give me a reason. What has it improved? How was the industry bettered by it's creation?
I'm not trying to prove you a fanboy or make you look foolish, I'm just sick of "everyone" saying that and yet never presenting any justification.
And I appologize for singling you out, in a sense.

Halo 3 , better graphics , multiplayer , better guns , more online players , more hype.
