Mortal Kombat (how can I use my Kreate a fighter?)

I have created a fighter but there's never any option to use it. I have tried all the one player kombat options, arcade and endurance. I load the profile in but the character isn't listed anywhere, please help

When you play versus mode, look over to the left or right, you should see a red head or blue head. Click on it and you should be able to use him.

Cool, I found the blue head thumbnail in the arcade and endurance character selection bit. I was looking for something that looked like the female character I made, hence why I didn't spot it.

Does anyone know... the more expensive moves in Kreate a Fighter bit, are they actually better / more powerful?
