Moving The Wii

I move my Wii from the living room to my bedroom reguarly.

Is it OK to unplug when its on standby or should I turn it off (red light) first?

The red light it one when I unplug it and move it to my living room and my room and nothing has happend so far. I just need to buy another wii and my problem will be gone.

I would say that the red light is your safest bet since it means the unit is completely shutdown and has no background processes running. If you unplug it with the orange light and it is in the middle of downloading an update (for example), you may screw things up a bit.

Errr...oops. My Wii is in my lounge this afternoon but in an hour or two I'll have to move it back up. I guess I should put it on red light next time before removing it.

I too move it between my living room and bedroom for 2 reasons.

1. My living room has a 42" plasma with surround sound that KICKS ASS! My bedroom TV is about 15" and it's not even flat screen,

2. My bedroom is too small and I can't play Wii sports on my bed, only Red Steel, Zelda and Wii play.
