im on ellysia, and when i scan the locks with the yellow targets on them, it says "targets need to be shot simultaneously to deactivate lock" or something like that, and when i shoot them, nothing happens. do i need a certain upgrade or somethin lol?

Well do you currently have a gun which can shoot multiple things simultaneously? 
You need a missile upgrade which allows you to lock onto several targets and then fire off missiles at all of them at once. Just ignore the yellow targets for now.
