I was wondering what kind of applications the Wii would have with MP3 play back, I know that you can upload MP3s and play them during slideshows but can I hook up an external hard drive via usb 2.0 on the back of the Wii with my Music library in it and play them independantly of the picture viewing program. I would also like to know if there will be a flash player download available in the near future so that I can view videos and hear music like that on a myspace page.

As of currently, no Channel except the Photo Channel allows you to play MP3s from your computer. Nintendo has no plans in the future for a MP3 or music channel (as we know of).

He's talking about channels and downloads, not games.

at the moment you cant hook an external hard drive up, but that would be great for a new channel. as far as i know, the only thing you can use the usb for at the moment is plugging in a keyboard.
