Microsoft do make Office for Mac, so why not Messenger for Wii? Messenger contains advertisement, which I assume is the way Microsoft earn money on Messenger? The platform really doesn't matter, as I see it.

well, there ARE applications for Wii, right? Others have made it (apps for Wii), so I don't really see why a 'simple' messenger client can't be created It doesn't need to have all the functionality as the full version does either, just a slim version like on cell phones.

On another note you dont need nintendo to make it just like Homebrew channel.
