My wii won't fit the full widescreen

hopefully i don't look like a dumbass for asking this but i just bought a new 42" plasma and got the components for it and when i run a game on my wii it doesn't fit full screen....it like cuts off a little on each end. i've already went in and changed both the widesreen setting and the 480p. does anyone know what that might be?

Otherwise just try messing with your TV settings and make sure ur on the right input channel and everything.

Does it do it with all games?

haha sorry man i don't sit home and play video games all day.....but yeah my tv is set to all the right crap and it does it with every game i've tried
