well im not a sports game fan but i just checked metacritic and 2k9 has a higher score.

Yeah I downloaded both demos and decided to get NBA LIVE 09. I got it for 33 bucks too !

believe it or not NBA Live is a bit more realistic, 2k9 looks better though.
