Need help connecting to a WIRED PC!?!?

Hi,
I'm new in these here parts and have got myself a shiny new LAN connection cable thingy.

I have a pc which connects to the net via a adsl modem and ethernet cable. My modem only has ONE ethernet cable port..... where do i plug the ethernet cable from my wii lan adaptor??????

Can i just take out the pc and plug in my wiiiii??

your only option is to plug in the ethernet cable from the wii into the modem and give it a go?!?!?!
