haha, seriously one of the toughest games i've ever played. Not once did i ever complete it.

Best part was when you got into the Tank thing and you could drive over the foot soldiers :D

Yay. Pretty old school. Hard as hell game. Only beat once. Technodrome stage is a ridiculous maze where each of the guys walking around is like a boss basicly. Forgot to mention music in this game is catchy and will be in your head until you die.

Turtles in time was pretty bad ass too. I think the only turtles game that isnt all that is TMNT3 for NES

The water stage was only the second stage, so you missed out on a lot of the game, water stage dude....

and that tank thing, that was the party wagon!

Think I would rather have TMNT2 for 2 player simultaneous play. Dont have 300 years to get pissed off at TMNT1. I still havent beaten Contra III (trying on hard) or Castlevania IV. I know that this makes me less of a man, I just cant put in the man hours.

TMNT wasn't that hard if you knew where to go, and how to cheap out on the bosses. Personally I feel it was the worst of the old TMNT games. You want a really good one? Turtles in Time. You want a very hard game? Spider Man and the X-men Arcade's Revenge SNES, or Wolverine NES.

time to thread jack but, YES, SpiderMan & Xman was the ****, but even harder than Ninja Turtles!!!!!!! so hard. Awesome music for that game too.

The only way I could beat it was by playing it on my Dreamcast with an emulator and using frequent flash saves. Even then it was pretty damn hard. The biggest pain in the ass is not being able to continue from whatever level. That's one thing I don't miss about old school games.

I'll be totally honest- I was psyched about TMNT coming to VC... until I learned Xbox Live got the TMNT Arcade game. If I had the money, I'd be ALL OVER getting an Xbox360 JUST for that. Yes, I could get it on an emulator very easily but it's just not the same as playing it on a console. Even THEN, I've still always wanted the actual arcade game. Probably my favorite game ever. If VC gets the SNES game soon, that'll make me feel MUUUUUUCH better.

How are these images of the game proof of the VC availability? I know that Xbox Live is getting one of the games.........I really want the game and hope that you are right though.
