Disney Universe sounds like it could be a really interesting new game for the Wii from Disney Interactive Studios. The concept is a little different from the usual Disney games, as this time around you don’t play as a famous Disney character, instead your character gets to “suit-up” in the character costume of famous Disney characters, from a choice of more than 40 classic and contemporary Disney stars, including the likes of Alice, Mike, TRON and Stitch.
Following on from the initial launch announcement that we covered on Wii Chat back in June, Disney has now released some brand new screenshots that shed a little more light on what we can expect the game to look like, as well as revealing more details about some of the iconic Disney character costumes featured in the game, with the three newly released shots focusing on the Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy character costumes in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland environment.
Due for release this fall, the multiplayer action-adventure game represents the first time that Disney worlds and characters have mixed up. In the game, fans will get to collect coins and power-ups, defeat enemies, unlock new costumes and explore fantastic worlds inspired by Disney and Disney Pixar movies, with their friends.
