New Elebits Review

Well supposely the whole Google Checkout thing is offering 20 bucks off over any purchases over 50, however I believe the deal is a one time thing from google? Not to mention all games are 49.99. LOL

"Use Google Checkout to get $10 off orders from $30-$50, and $20 off orders greater than $50. One discount per order."

So with shipping they are basically the same if not more.

Yeah thats true, however if you just go with the shipping they have its not actually bad.

This is what I did, you go find your game, add it to the cart, and then go to the music section and find some crappy song to download for .99.

It'll come to 49.99 + .99 = 50.98.
-20.00

That comes to 30.98 and shipping for the game is 4.98 (song is download so its free) and it comes out to about 35 dollars. Its up to you if saving 15 bucks is a deal to you and waiting a few days.

It all depends on where your priorities are. A few days is definitely worth more than 15 bucks to me.

Yeah quite honestly I could bear waiting a few days for a game to arrive, I got friggin games on VC I still need to beat LOL.

Its not bad of a deal. The thing is the it's a google promotion for their new service, so its not gonna be around forever. However, Google being super rich they might have it around for quite a while.

I'm really not. $15 is like 30 minutes at a bar.

Or one meal at Red Lobster.

Yeah, if you have games that you want to beat now, it's definitely worth purchasing it over the net, but I'm getting to the end of Zelda so I need it now...and plus, when I order over the net, probably a 3rd of the time, my package will get lost and never arrive. That's no exaggeration. It happens A LOT to me.

Probably some truck driver stealing your ****.

Vagrant, why does that sound like a your an escort/man whore?

haha just kidding.

I know what you guys mean about having it right away, I think America became very instant gradification-like, and I'm just as guilty of it as anyone else.

I usually buy a few games at a time, and its not exactly a good idea to do because when I get home I sit there and go "Aww ****, what one should I play first?" well than about 3 hours later I go "damnit I'll just flip a coin"

and now my Cat is going psycho in the hallway, hes scared of something. Bushy tail.

Speaking of man whores...i just got 50 from my granny and i am looking for a good game to play with my gfriend. is this a pretty good one. i was thinking this or trauma center.

Not so much instant gratification, moreso enjoy the ability to pay in different ways.

If I go to Best Buy or wal-mart, I can pay with cash, check, or credit.

Your girlfriend would most likely like elebits more than trauma center, it has that cute cuddly look.

@ Vagrant, I hear you. UPS will leave anything here so they aren't a problem, however Fedex always makes us sign and they always come when we're all at work.

Btw Vagrant, what are your initial impressions of Elebits last night?

I don't know if it's instant gratification for me, I probably won't begin the game until I finish Zelda. I just don't want to wait to finish Zelda, then go to the stores and find that they don't have any more in stock and then I end up having to wait for another week or so before they get more in stock...

Wait, that sounds like instant gratification to me...oh well.

i think ordering the games online isn't too bad. i mean i can wait a couple days and i would plan on ordering them before i finish the game i am currently playing. i really just want to build my library as fast as i can.
