Yes, it's to be compatible with all Games including MotionPlus Games.

Now what would you rather have?

Wiimote + MotionPlus that makes the controller stick out another 3inchs

Or

Wiimote MotionPlus that's the same size and weight as the original (Because the Plus is built-in).

If that's all they changed hopefully then yes. But it is going to be heavier because of the motion plus builtin.

I didn't really mean "exactly" the same weight. However, it's not released yet and hopefully there isn't much weight added when they do.

Only games stated to be compatbile with motion plus and no COD game has been announced for it. Black-Ops, I haven't heard if it does.
