new wii'er

greetings!

my husband and i just got a wii and we're really excited about it. i'm disabled, and have never been able to play "old-fashioned" video games with the hand controls and the fancy buttons. but this new thing......this is bitchin'! i love it!

we have the tiger woods golf 08 game, and i'm having a lot of trouble with the putt shot. it's as if the sensor isn't seeing my controller as i'm pulling the "club" back, and only registers the forward swing.....does that make sense? can anyone tell me the secret to the putt shot? i'm hitting lefty, btw.
