Newbie with a ?

Hey Everyone!

Im a newbie to the forum as I have jusut bought a wii and its an excellent piece of kit!.
I have got one question though, I have two remotes which have both been syncronised with the console but when I play alone is there any way to turn the other remote off? as the blue lights are always on and cant help but think that this is wearing the batteries down. Do I have to keep taking the batteries out everytime i play alone?

Yea sorry i have just realised only one lights up anyway! this is the first time ive turned it on since i synced them so thats why i didnt realise.

usually the one you are not using turns it self off atomatically. but if it doesn`t press the home button and disconnect both of the wiimotes, then just coneect one don`t press any buttons on the other remote and it will stay of until you use it next time.
