MCV reports that Nintendo has just published its release schedule for the first quarter of this year, with highlights including Kirby’s Epic Yarn, LEGO Star Wars III The Clone Wars and de Blob 2. Interestingly enough, Kirby’s Epic Yarn is the only first-party Nintendo game in the list, with THQ really dominating the Wii schedule with its uDraw tablet releases. Here’s the list in full, courtesy of MCV:

  • Family Party: 90 Great Games Party Pack – February 11 (D3P)
  • Kirby’s Epic Yarn – February 25 (Nintendo)
  • de Blob 2 – February 25 (THQ)
  • Williams Pinball Classics – March (Systems 3)
  • Pictionary (uDraw) – March 4 (THQ)
  • Dood’s Big Adventure (uDraw) – March 4 (THQ)
  • uDraw Studio with uDraw GameTablet – March 4 (THQ)
  • Fitness Coach Club – March (Ubisoft)
  • Challenge Me: Word Puzzles – March 11 (O-Games)
  • National Geographic Challenge! – March 18 (Black Bean Games)
  • LEGO Star Wars III The Clone Wars – March 25 (Activision/LucasArts)
Some interesting stuff there, but it looks like Nintendo’s not ready to unleash the big guns until the Summer.

Kirbys Epic Yarn might be a good buy but Im going to save my money for Pokemon Black/White in March. Until then, Ill keep checking schedules to see whats being released

Hmm...nothing there really appeals to me :( I agree about Pokemon B&W though! Just hope my nephews don't steal all my damn pokemon while I'm not looking this time!!!!

Oh actually, Kirby looks pretty cool but I don't think I'd go out and buy it.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is good. I like how there's Epic Yarn and Epic Mickey out. Haha. I'd say save for Pokemon, though. I'm buying it for my b-day.
