Nintendo Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep Gets Release Pushed Up to February 5th -1.052010-01-09 07:37:28Maura S

Nintendo’s forthcoming marine adventure game has not only had a slight title revamp from Endless Ocean: Blue World to Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep, it’s also had its European release date moved forward to February 5th from February 22nd. Good news for you if you’ve had your eye on this one, and it does indeed look rather nice, offering players six new ocean locations to explore, including the icy Arctic, sunken wrecks in the Aegean Sea, and for the first time, rivers such as the Brazilian Amazon. Another first for the series is the fact you can also now explore dry land as well as the ocean. Some of the diving missions players get to participate in include helping maintain coral reefs, riding on dolphins and swimming with humpback whales. You’ll also have plenty of jobs to do when underwater, including hunting for artefacts with your Treasure Detector, acting as a diving escort, and taking photographs for nature magazines. As well as the single-player mode, players can also link up with another player’s Wii via the Wi-Fi connection and explore their rivers and oceans as well as your own. You can even swim along with fellow explorers using Wii Speak.
