No picture when using the Wii with a Philips LCD TV

Has anyone come across this problem. When using the Wii with a Philips LCD TV I have a flash of an image and thereafter the picture disappears. Sound is OK. The Wii works fine with other TV's (also in the shop where we bought it when we went back with this problem) . The TV on the other hands works fine with any other game consoles such as the game cube.
