Can anyone name me bands that i most-likely never heard of, but
a) are good and
b) popular enough that they would have a decently good wikipedia page(lol)

i'm at a phase right now where i'll only listen to two bands(artic monkeys and streetlight manifesto) and i want to dl something i've never heard of

1)Dream Theater. dubbed the most popular band you've never heard of. Amazing Musicians. all 5 members virtuosos at what they do.
2)Liquid Tension Experiment. Instrumental group. 3/4ths Dream Theater. it was a side project.
3) Opeth. Once you get past the growling parts, the singer is actually REALLY good. fantastic musicians.

I could go on and on, but i'll stop. i need to go to bed anyway. PM me if you want more.

okay dokay,

i'm not saying im' going to dl them via torrent, nor am i advertising it, im' just using 'torrent talk' as a level of being famous enough.....

edit-i'll remove it from my op anyways, just so there's no confusion/controvery

Some of these may be more known than I think, if so, sorry. Recommendations:

Lovehatehero - I suppose some would consider them emo? Their appearance is emo, but I still like their music.

Hard-Fi - Poppish

In Flames - Metal/Heavy Rock

Rise Against - Rock

Say Anything - "Alternative" (they switch between a ton of different styles)

Tokyo Police Club - Alternative
