Basically, I'm having the Blue screen of death. I've managed to get my computer on for a short while, I've done a system restore...yet everytime I get a non-responsive programme, I get the BSOD. I don't know if the problem is causing the non-responsive programmes, or vice versa. It did tell me on one the the BSODs that DRIVERS/NTFS was corrupt or missing. It's definately not missing, so I can assume that it's corrupt. Now, I;m not stupid with computers, I know a fair bit, so no need to talk to me like i'm a complete thick arse  I was wondering, is there a way of fixing this, without completely reinstalling win xp? (I don't use vista because of all my things which won't work with it) Please, no answers like 'get a mac' I'm really not interested in buying a macintosh. I'd appreciate some help. Thankyou in advance.
