Ocarina of time glitch

I'm very annoyed by this sense I wanted to get to the last great farie before I went to face ganon, but when I try to pick the large black piller thing up it just doesn't do anything,. The box says grab, I press a and nothing happens.

This is dumb since it should be completely good since Nintendo updated the game.

There is the possibility I'm forgetting how to do something, so if there is let me know I have 14 hearts if that makes a difference

do you have the proper item required to lift that rock? I believe it requires a special power up.

Ive never had that problem, just reset the game....glitches like that shouldnt last forever!

Weird! I have never heard of that issue before. I know that MM is FULL of glitches, but I didn't know of many for OOT.
