I have an old 60'' CRT tv, I want a better image since it's awful right now.
All I need would be component cables or they'r for HD tvs only ?

Thanks for the help.

well that depends if your tv has RGB inputs in componant form, if not just buy the nintendo RGB scart lead, best picture you'll get from tv without componant input.

Not sure what you mean by RGB but it has the 3 colored wires in front where I plugged my Wii stock cables.

thats composite or A/V cable. With a yellow red and white. Component cables needa Red, green, and blue slots. If you dont have that then you cant get 480p from your Wii with that TV

Component cables will give you a better picture. Your resolution will remain the same.

i dont think he has input for component which is what he indicates in hius first post :D and that is why it seems that SCART is his best route
