Old School virtual console games

Hey I was wondering. Is there any old school nintendo game (e.g. for the NES, SNES, Genesis, Master System) that Nintendo will never release on the virtual console for the wii to make available to buy there? I know emulators are illegal even for games and systems that are no longer sold in stores like Toys R Us, Target, or Walmart. But sooner or later, for example, every SNES cartridge for a particular SNES game is going to disappear off of the face of the earth and no one will ever see it again. Will Nintendo eventually re-release all of its old school games in one form or another?

P.S. emulators are legal, just not approved by nintendo or playstation or microsoft etc.

Carts will never disappear off the face of the planet as there are people that collect them and preserve them.

Emulators are not illegal.
The rom files for released games are (Homebrew ones aren't)
