Old Wii New Problem

Merry Christmas to all.!!! we've had wii since april. My son starting using Game Cube games in there. Now there is a message that wii system cannot read disk when I place Wii disk in, the icon for nintendo game cube disk stays on. Please Help any information would be greatly appreciated since thats what my boys want to play with.

are you playing a gamecube game, ejecting and putting in a wii disc? you may need to reset the system once you put a new disc in.

Yeah, all of the options that people gave you should get you wii working. If it doesn't, you'll have to contact Nintendo.
