omg, i almost broke my bros 360!

ok so today my bro got a network adapter for xbox live and i was just finishing plugging it in. as i was spinning the 360 back around the connection from the tv to the 360 got lost and it went blank. then the red ring of death accured, covering 3/4 of the ring on the front of the console. so then i was like :scared: then in a panick i unplugged and plugged everything back in and it worked fine again. will the accurence of the red ring of death effect anything in the future?

maybe it messed up because you plugged in the adapter while it was on
just a guess
and it dose happen sometimes though when a plug becomes loose or something
