On-line?

I bought this game today and I have tried all day to get in to a multi-player match. I got in once and it froze at the start screen and the other time it just sat at the lobby. All other times it timed out. I know people say that on-line play for this game sucks but ... there's gotta someway to play this game on-line. There's been tons of people trying to connect as well as me!
Maybe (hopefully) the site is just down???

Getting a game is a royal pain, but when you do get a match it's really fun, as long as there aren't any hackers.
