well i just got a ps3 today and was wondering how2 get online so u can browse websits coz when i do go online all i can look at is games and ps3 stuff when i want 2 go on ebay n stuff can any1 help plz?

There is a web browser option. You're currently just browsing the PSN store.

From the XMB, choose the Network option (NOT Playstation Network). Under there you will find a few options and one of them is titles "Internet Browser". That's the one you want.

i too just purchased a PS3 and i thinki know what you mean, press the start button to type in a URL.
