Is it true this game will not be an fps?

Metroid games aren't exactly fps. The metroid prime games are more adventure and action types with fps view. but this is not a prime game and it's got retro elements meaning it's more of a platformer with some fps segments.

I have seen a screenshot in Metroid Prime perspective, maybe you'll be able to aim down sight and perhaps that will be First Person View, since we know Nintendo always has what the others have but in a Nintendo like way

The game isnt going to be made by Nintendo
Its being made by Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive)

Okay, so Nintendo will have nothing to do with it? you think Nintendo is just going to let Team Ninja handle one of their franchises without doing anything thereselves? Team Ninja has joined in but it'll still be Nintendo style no matter who was working on it
