Phantasy Star Online online capabilities for wii?

i have phantasy star online episode I and II for gamecube, since wii can play gamecube games will i be able to go online with PSO. I always wanted to go online just to see what it was like but never got around to buying a modem for my gamecube. Also since i have dial up, will there be big lagging problems if i go online. I know some people say there will be but i have played DiabloII for PC online, and there was no lagging at all.

..honestly I got phantasy star online and hated it!!!
The game reeks in my opinion...now online is a different story.
But there are plenty of better games like Zelda TP!
Sorry...a little off topic...I cant get my mind off it!!!
yeah i think you should get a modem for it...but it will cost A LOT!!!

I've tried to play Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 online with the wii, thinking more or less the same thing. However, PSO detects the lack of the modem or broadband adapter and will not proceed further.

I have Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast, I never really liked it...

Thanks for trying that out. Its not a huge deal that you cant, i was just curious. Maybe they will make an update to allow you to play PSO online on wii. You never know...

pitty really.... i would play the original on GC for a whole summer online on a 56k modem, or with my friends


an absolute classic if u ask me
