Calling all Phineas and Ferb fans, time to head down to your local games emporium and get yourselves a copy of Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Dimension, for Wii and DS. The game is, of course, based on Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning animated TV series, and was developed to complement the forthcoming Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name, which debuts on Disney Channel in North America on August 5 at 8pm E/PT. In the game, players get to play as one of 10 favourite characters from the show, including Phineas, Ferb, and Agent P, as well as an exclusive new character, Agent T, as they journey through seven different worlds across 25 levels, in an effort to vanquish the notoriously evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Among the different worlds fans can look forward to visiting are a gelatin world, a bouncy balloon world, and an old-school cartoon world.

“Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Dimension allows players to experience their beloved characters from the show in a brand new way,” said Dan Povenmire, Emmy Award-winning creator/executive producer, “Phineas and Ferb.” “Immersive features like the colorful environments, cool gadgets and entertaining levels in the game are sure to bring the movie to life, allowing fans to experience the extraordinary adventures of Phineas and Ferb like never before.”
The exclusive new character, Agent T, aka Terry the Turtle, is a rookie agent at the O.W.C.A (Organisation Without a Cool Acronym). Tough and reliable, Agent T’s special skill is being extra resistant to attacks. As with all characters that you get to play in the game, Agent T will have plenty of new gadgets to use on Dr. Doofenshmirtz, including a Carbonator that fires orange soda and melts enemies.

Several of the actors from the TV series are featured in the game, including Vincent Martella as Phineas, Thomas Sangster as Ferb and Alyson Stoner as Isabella. You can expect to pick the Wii version up for $39.99 and the DS version for $29.99.
