the proof is in the pudding folks...actually it is in this link. sony has a lot of work to do. make sure to scroll down and look at the pictures of ps2 games on the ps3. they look absolutely horrible.

yeah its definitely interesting to see....ida thought someone was crazy if before hte ps3 came out theyda told me ps2 games would look worse on it than the ps2. ida laughed hard.

yeah but half the reason people buy that console is for backwards compatibility. if they cant even get that right then what is the use? on top of that there are plenty of issues with the console trying to play new games as well or any game for that matter. its as if they didnt test this console at all, as if they got it done, didnt play any games on it, didnt hook it up to any tvs, and just shipped it out.

Wasn't the PS3 all about pretty graphics? I mean their president said they would have the best looking graphics of any game system. Nice to see they gave the same consideration for their backwards compatibility(sarcasm).
