Please help! Stuck on Castle Rooftop

I am new to this game and I am stuck on the Castle Rooftop. I have tried about 60 times to jump from the pier to the roof with help from Midna, but when I jump to the pole, I fall. I have spent hours trying to jump or find another way to get to the other rooftop and cannot. I am dying to move on and getting frustrated. Please help.

if i recall.. there is a wind that blows and you jump so the wind carries you.

I can't really tell wear u r at by castle rooftop since there are several castles and lots of rooftops but from what I think u r talkin about, look around,
place 1.there should be a thing that waves when the wind blows, wait for the wind to blow than jump for it.
place 2.Target than jump to the pole and instantly jump again.(make sure u r as close as u can get.)
