I am a new Wii owner and I have a few questions. Does the wii come with a wireless card built in so that I can connect wirelessly? Also, I am trying to download games from the internet, but do I have to have the wii connected to the television to get to the main menu in order to set up the internet connection?

No, the Wii does not come built in with a built in card for the internet connection. You'll need a wireless router or a LAN Adapter. Yes, you need to have the Wii hooked up to your TV to access internet connection settings.

yes, the wii has wifi built into it. all you need is a wireless router and the instruction manuals. in PC terms yes, it has a wireless card, sort of...

on your wii in the main menu there is a internet connection settings setup that you must do to find your router.
