Does anyone know of games you can play online without having friend codes? Is there a list of WiFi games you can play anonymously?

I believe most games out there that have multiplayer online have anonymous online play. Animal Crossing is the only game I can think of that doesn't let you play with random people. The only reason you need friend codes is if you want to play with a specific person.
