PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure has all of a sudden popped out on the Wii in North America. It’s the first Pokémon adventure game to be created exclusively for the Wii, and it features Pikachu in a massive world filled with friends, foes and lots of exciting territory to explore.

The game starts with Rare Pokémon Mew summoning Pikachu to the PokéPark, as several pieces of the Sky Prism have gone missing and hero Pikachu is the only one who can get them back. Players then get to take control of Pikachu in a number of different Skill Games and Attractions, in a last ditch bid to save the PokéPark.

Moving through the park’s Zones, players can befriend other Pokémon by defeating them in Skill Games. They can also play as other Pokémon in some of the challenges. Basically, it’s a veritable feast of fun for Pokémon fans both old and new. Here’s Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations, talking about the game:

“As the holiday season draws near, consumers can count on*PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure to deliver imaginative game play and endless hours of fun. Playing as Pikachu and interacting with scores of different Pokémon in a world of adventure, people will find plenty to love about this new game for Wii, whether they’re new to the series or experienced Pokémon players.”

I wonder if this Pogemans game will actually be fun. I usually find spin-offs like this to be lame, but this one seems different.
