a good detailed picture of wii power supply writing on it will have the answer

now that you got Wii

can you help me with the question?

thanks

I'm pretty sure that the US power supply will not work with say a UK Wii. Not 100% sure, but I think it's the case.

Not sure if this helps at all

some one out there that allready got Wii

please look at the power brick and tell what is written there (input ??)

many thanks

anybody find out if the power supply is autosensing?

I've got an import coming over soon from the US to the UK :D

Can I just plug it straight into the mains with a travel plug or do I need a stepdown converter?

Anybody blown up their adapter yet?? :(

Cheers!

PS. For anybody who has not seen this yet and needs to buy a power adapter... looks like the Wii uses fairly small amount of power

In Standby Mode: 10w
Idle @ Wii menu: 17w
Running a Wii Game (Test with Zelda/Trauma Center) in 480i: 17w

bought It in Europe it have only power brick for 220V
so I will say that the USA have one only for 110V

But
in Ebay you can find WII power brick for both 110-240V for just around 20$
