Progress Messages??

Hello all,

I noticed on a friend's wii the other day that when he plays Wii Sports, his progress is recorded (scores, records broken, etc...) and sent to him as a Wii mail message. I thought this was a cool feature.

I've had my Wii for a week now, and I've been playing Wii Sports, selecting my Mii just like he does, and I am not getting any messages. The only messages that I get are when a new Mii is added to the sports list, as well as the daily playing time message. I am not getting the message that tells me about my records in bowling that I'm breaking, or my scores, etc...

Does anyone have any clue about this? I'm about to call Nintendo support.

lol this is weird... you sure your breaking records?

and is there somewhere to switch them off that you might have done? Don't think there is but there's nothing else I can think of...

You have to get a medal to recieve a message.

I've broken my personal best but I haven't got a medal yet... I'll see what happens when I get a medal.

i got one for beating 'the champ', who had 2000 points

Ok it sent me a message when I received a medal. So I guess it is working, I just didn't understand. Thanks!
