just get a new ps2 duhhhh

Because they aren't 200 bucks or anything.....
STFU nub.

Anyway that's expensive for an outdated system.
Why not upgrade to the PS3 if you really need to.

Have you got the older PS2, or the new slimline one?

If you have the old one, i know how to fix it.
Open it up, rotate the white cog under the CD cover (the covering where the disc and lens is), this changes the angle of the lens from the disc. Cleaning the lens with a high percentage alcohol may also make a difference.
I did this myself, and it now plays everything (it stopped playing PS1 games......but now fixed).

PM me if you want step by step instructions.

I cleaned the lense of my PS2 by opening it up and using a q-tip with some rubbing alcohol. Works like it's brand new, but before it wouldn't even load the cleanest game.

Actually its $129 moron. Before you call someone out, make sure you know what you're talking about.
