PS3 help plz!

Ok here is my situation.

I can get a 60 gb ps3 for the same price as the 40 gb ps3 at 399.99 only thing is that its used. however i dont have a HDTV but plan on getting one in the future. Is it worth getting the ps3 without a hdtv or should i just wait until i get a HDTV and can the 60 gb play old PS games? cuz i know the 40 gb cant. What should i do? and how is the online on the PS3?

Get the 60GB while you can!

Sony have stopped producing them! After the current ones are all sold we will never see them again. They are being discontinued and replaced by an 80GB version.

Soon there will only be 40GB or 80GB
