Question about Sonic

I bought the game and im simply loving it! This game is freaking awesome fast pace and fun to play, Annoying at times although what game doesn't have its challenging moments.. Anyway all aside iv completed a bit of the game have like 3-4 world rings now. My question is this multiplayer mode is fun but is there a "Vs. Mode" where u can race a friend?????? That would be pretty beat if they didnt include that theres a "????????????" section in multiplayer i was hoping that was it can anyone tell me?:smilewinkgrin:

There is no racing that I know of, just a bunch of minigames. There are some racing minigames though, like the mine cart one.

I haven't played my Sonic in two days now... I dunno why. Whatever.
